Kayaking
Instruction
We offer
instruction for every level. These are suggested guidelines for our
lessons, however, our instructor will customize the lesson to your
needs.

Option
1 An introduction to
Kayaking

| Agenda: |
This
class is taught both on land and in the water. It is
designed to give the beginning paddler a solid foundation on which to
build. The focus will be on safety and stroke technique. |

$65 private or
$60/person for a group of 2-4. There is an additional charge
of $10 per kayak, per lesson.

Option 2
Self and assisted rescues
|
| Agenda: |
This class focuses on the wet exit and self and
assisted re-entries and is offered both during the season and
throughout the winter months. Winter classes are taught in a
local pool and are subject to pool availability. This is a great
class for open water paddlers and the kayak rental is included at no
additional charge! |

Remember, your
lessons will be customized to your needs. Our goal is for you to
feel safe and confident in a kayak. If you need to learn a
specific maneuver, just ask! We can help with that!

WHAT TO BRING: Bathing suit, towel,
water shoes or sandals, swim goggles or mask, sunscreen for outdoor
lessons. PFDs and paddles included in kayak rental price.
