As we are located in a Michigan State Park, a valid state park permit will be required and can be purchased when you visit.

Please note that for all of our downriver trips,
a fuel surcharge of $2 per craft will be added.

Take 96 west toward Lansing until you get to the Kensington Road exit (#151). Turn right and follow the signs to the Island Lake Recreation area. Turn left into the recreation area and follow the sign to the canoe rental.
