It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Rent a canoe from our Proud Lake location. 2. Paddle to Central Park in Milford and leave your canoe with our representatives there. 3. Enjoy all that Milford Memories has to offer, then hop on one of our shuttles and be returned to your car.

Milford Memories is Aug 12, 13, 14 and Milford is going to be full of cars! Why not leave the driving to us and paddle to downtown Milford? Come to our Proud Lake location, leave your car here and paddle to Central Park in Milford. Leave your canoe at our “big tee-pee” and enjoy all that Milford Memories has to offer, then hop on one of our shuttles and you will be returned to your car. Did you know that July 17 through July 23 are the best days to begin a diet to lose weight? (According to Farmer’s Almanac). Diet and exercise work well together — how about paddling a canoe or kayak down the Huron River? We can’t guarantee you’ll lose weight but we can guarantee you’ll have fun!
It’s not too late to sign up for the Father’s Day Kayak and Cache event in Kensington Metropark. Go to www.heavnernatureconnection.org and register on the Events page. Come out for a day of treasure hunting along the Huron River!
Good News! The river is now open from Proud Lake to Island Lake and we are resuming all trips along that route. The depth and speed of the river have returned to normal. The water is fine and it’s a good time to try us out. Hope to see you this weekend!
Here’s how to have a Super Saturday! Reserve your canoe by 11:00 on Friday night (June 10) and for every canoe you rent, you get a free rental! Free rental good on Saturday June 11 only. Must have a reservation, make your reservation on the website or by calling 248.561.8274 up til 11:00 tonight. Tell them you want the Super Saturday Special! Grab a friend and come on out!
