Now located on Newburgh Lake in Livonia.  Hours are Friday – Sunday, 10am to 8pm.

Rent a canoe and circle the lake for $5 per 1/2 hour, or get those legs working in a paddleboat for $10 per 1/2 hour.

Even though it will still technically be winter until Tuesday, we will be open for canoeing and kayaking this weekend!  This is the earliest in the 60 year history of Heavner’s that we’ve opened, so come out and be part of history!


We will have a full staff and full services (pick-up / river canoeing) at
Proud Lake, and we recommend that you call ahead (248-685-2379) for reservations.  We will be open from 10am to 7pm on Saturday, 3/17 and Sunday, 3/18.  (If you don’t wear green on Saturday you might just get pinched!)


Our Island Lake location will be available by reservation only.


This unprecedented weather is amazing – Saturday is supposed to be 72 and partly cloudy – come out and enjoy yourselves!

How Much? Donations will be accepted for Nature Connection (“No Child Left Inside”)

Join us at Proud Lake Recreation Area to explore the park and meet with friends both old and new.  Outdoor activities and information displays will challenge you and connect you with the outdoors in the winter.  Bring a dish to share, board games or cards if you wish. Cocoa and coffee will be provided.  Come for an hour or all afternoon, enjoy a walk in the woods, make a snowman, race a sno-snake, get warm in the building, listen to music and stories by the fireplace.
For adventuresome souls, a Huron River paddle will launch at 3 PM at the Moss Lake Dam. Bring your canoe or kayak, or rent one from Heavner Canoe Rental.  Return transportation from Wixom Road will be available for a small fee, or paddle back upstream to the launch site.

This October you’re invited to have a spooky night out at Proud Lake. Friday and Saturday nights from 8 to 11:30, just $12 gets you a terrifying adventure. Come ready for the outdoors because this event includes a hay ride, canoeing and haunted hiking trail.


Panic at Proud Lake opens October 7 and continues through the end of the month. Ages 12 and up only.


Hours:   Friday and Saturday 8:00 – 11:30pm. Cancellations due to weather can be found on our facebook page or by calling 248.685.2379.

Rates:    $12 per person (call or email for group rates)

Family Friendly Day:   Sunday Oct 30 from 1 – 4pm $7 per person – kids 5 and under free

The adventure begins at 2775 Garden Road, Milford, MI 48381, inside the Proud Lake Rec. area.

A $10 Annual State Park Recreation Passport is required for all vehicles. No alcohol is allowed at this event.

Description:

MedWAR will be held September 17, 2011 at Pinckney Recreation Area near Ann Arbor, MI.

Price is $45 per canoe and includes canoe paddles and PFDs.

Note – the “additional attendees” link is ONLY for if you are registering for more than one canoe. Do not use that to add a second member of your team. Registrations will be held by one name only.
